NOTE TO STATUTES AND REGULATIONS

The Summaries of the Legislation in the following sections are intended to be broad, general statements of the provisions of the Legislation and are intended for Forest Management Companies carrying on business in Saskatchewan. In many cases material provisions in a statute which have no relevance to the forest industry are omitted. Accordingly, these summaries are not complete summaries.

The Purpose of the Summaries is to alert the reader to the issues which are dealt with in the Legislation.

Any summary of legislation is subject to the frailties of abbreviation - it is incomplete and therefore inaccurate because of its incompleteness. When specific issues arise, reference should always be had to the original legislation in its complete form. Check our website under "LINKS" for direct access to all of the legislation summarized as well as to a number of other relevant sites.

The Summaries do NOT contain the complete provisions of the Legislation nor do the Summaries contain all the issues raised by the legislation.
